In loving memory.....

of my mother,

Ardys Janet Vasis Eserhut

October 9, 1921 to May 6, 2013

 Mom in the late 40's.

 Mom, me and Chuck, 1963

Mom and me, 1990

John and I are so grateful that we were able to visit with Mom a week before she passed.  She was alert enough to know we were there, and we could have a little conversation.

She passed peacefully yesterday, with my oldest sister, Kim, at her side.

I believe she had a good life.  She was loved, and she will be missed.

  16. Regan,

I am just catching up with some blog reading and read your earlier post then this one. Glad to hear of your good trip to PA and your recent fun quilting that you have done. I love your two little quilts you just finished - you must have smoke coming from your needles. No wonder your machine needs a tune up!

I am saddened to hear about your Mom. It is good that you were able to see her before she passed away. The pictures you posted are sweet - cherish to good memories.

  26. My condolences on the passing of your Mom. She was certainly a beautiful woman.

I found your blog through a link on another blog. Enjoyed all the pictures and signed up as a follower. I have considered the inklings software as well and will be interested to see how it goes for you. I have EQ7 and have printed out patterns on fabric using that program. Your stars look great.

  29. Dear Regan, I'm not sure how this happened but I missed this post altogether and I'm so very sorry for your loss. I lost my mom when I was 21 and then my mil passed at the end of March. My heart goes out to you; especially with yesterday. I hope your memories will bring you smiles-in time, but for now be gentle with yourself. I'm so glad you were able to be there at the end.
Sending hugs and lots of love,
    Noreen
